Emergency communications test Wednesday, Sept. 19
WUSTL will test its emergency communication system, WUSTLAlerts, at approximately 12:35 p.m. CT Wednesday, Sept. 19. The test will take place unless there is the potential for severe weather that day or some other emergency is occurring at that time. For this test, WUSTLAlerts will send e-mails to @wustl.edu addresses and text messages to cell phones.

Washington University will test its emergency notification system, WUSTLAlerts, at approximately 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13. The WUSTLAlerts test will take place unless there is the potential for severe weather that day or some other emergency is occurring at that time. For the test, WUSTLAlerts will send emails to @wustl.edu addresses, text messages to cell phones and voice messages to cell phones.
Rescue doctors provide on-scene care
Washington University has the only Emergency Medical Services (EMS) program in Missouri that routinely sends emergency medicine physicians along with its own ambulances to treat trauma patients at disaster scenes.
