If you are a Washington University in St. Louis faculty member with an interest in developing teaching or research collaborations with colleagues in other departments or schools, the “Bring Your Own Idea” program is offering a third round of grants to help forge such a connection.
Women in IT leadership program seeks applicants
“SPIN-IT: A Leadership Program for Women in IT” is accepting applications. The new program aims to encourage and support women, both staff members and students, pursuing careers in information technology. The deadline for staff members to apply is Friday, March 15; the deadline for student applications is March 22.
Diversity and Inclusion Grants program winners announced
A program to encourage and support women pursuing careers in information technology is just one of the projects that received a funding boost from this year’s Diversity and Inclusion Grants program. Among last year’s winning proposals was a summer research program for students from Meharry Medical College in Tennessee (right).
Deadline for diversity, inclusion grant proposals Oct. 29
WUSTL faculty and administrators with ideas for improving the campus environment for women, members of underrepresented minority groups, and other diverse groups are encouraged to apply for a Diversity and Inclusion Grant. Proposals are now being accepted until Oct. 29 for program initiatives that strengthen and promote diversity on campus.
