Project ARK to provide HIV testing, area for youth at PrideFest

Project ARK , a Washington University School of Medicine program that provides health-care and support services for children and teens with HIV, will host an area designated for youth at St. Louis’ annual PrideFest, a three-day event downtown that begins Friday. Among activities at the site will be free HIV testing for anyone 25 or younger.

Washington University in St. Louis faculty, staff, students and alumni are invited to march in this year’s St. Louis PrideFest Parade at 11 a.m. June 29. WUSTL participants will meet at the parade staging area in Kiener Plaza, located at Seventh and Market streets.

WUSTL community celebrates at PrideFest parade

More than 60 Washington University in St. Louis faculty, staff, students and alumni marched in the 2013 Pride STL LGBT parade June 30 in downtown St. Louis. The parade was part of St. Louis PrideFest, a weekend of events and programs designed to foster an understanding and tolerance of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.
