Ralph Dacey

Through an elective rotation that began nearly 15 years ago, neurosurgery residents at the School of Medicine have an opportunity to see how complex neurosurgical procedures are performed in another country with a markedly different health-care system.

Ralph G. Dacey Jr., MD, the Henry G. and Edith R. Schwartz Professor and head of the Department of Neurological Surgery, has received the Walter Reed Distinguished Service Award from his alma mater.

Ralph. G. Dacey Jr., the Henry G. and Edith R. Schwartz Professor and chair of the Department of Neurological Surgery at Washington University, has been awarded an Honorary Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He traveled to Dublin earlier this month to receive the honor.
