Leggett: Teaching students to ‘live amongst difference’
Washington University Student Affairs and Residential Life leaders will lead a panel that explores ways to support students impacted by crises from natural disasters to racist propaganda. The panel, lead by Kawanna Leggett, executive director of residential life, is part of the annual Residential College Symposium.
Leggett appointed university’s first executive director of residential life
Kawanna Leggett, director of residential education, at University of California, Berkeley, has been appointed Washington University in St. Louis’ first executive director of residential life, effective March 20, said Lori White, vice chancellor for student affairs.
Rubelmann House gets a proper send-off
Rubelmann House residential adviser Michael Land is organizing farewell events for “Ruby” alumni and residents, starting on Saturday, April 12. Rubelmann will be replaced with a new residence hall, slated to open in August 2015.
