A political insider’s guide to the 2012 election

Former U.S. Rep. Richard A. “Dick” Gephardt (D-Mo.) will discuss the 2012 presidential and congressional elections from 4 to 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, in the Danforth University Center (DUC), Room 234. Gephardt’s talk, “A Political Insider’s Guide to the 2012 Election,” is free and open to the public.

Constitution Day to be marked by discussion with Gephardt

These and other questions will be covered at “We the People: The Constitution and You, a conversation led by former Congressman Richard A. Gephardt and professor emeritus James Davis from 2-3 on Sept. 19 in the Women’s Building Formal Lounge. The event is free and open to the public.

Richard A. Gephardt Institute for Public Service established

Richard A. GephardtEncouraging people to become involved in public service will be the goal of the newly established Richard A. Gephardt Institute for Public Service at Washington University in St. Louis. Named in honor of the two-time presidential candidate and longtime Missouri congressman, the non-partisan, university-wide institute be directed by James W. Davis, WUSTL professor of political science.
