Medical assistant program offers opportunities, fills need

The School of Medicine has created a paid medical assistant internship program. The hope is it can both alleviate employment issues in the St. Louis region and address a shortage of medical assistants.

Startup Connection announces startups for Venture Showcase

Startup Connection, St. Louis’ largest event focused on innovation and entrepreneurship, announced those selected for its Venture Showcase Nov. 16 at Washington University. More than a third of the companies have strong university ties.

Emergency communication system to be tested Oct. 26

Washington University will test its emergency communication system at 12:05 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26. These tests are to ensure the university can effectively communicate with community members in an emergency.
