Azama named athletics director

Anthony J. Azama has been named the John M. Schael Director of Athletics, announced Lori White, vice chancellor for student affairs. Azama will join the university July 1 from Columbia University.

Insurance coverage for IVF increases chance of having baby

Women who pursue in vitro fertilization to become pregnant are more likely to give birth if they have health insurance that covers the procedure, according to new School of Medicine research.

African Film Festival returns this weekend

The African Film Festival returns to campus Friday through Sunday, March 31-April 2. Screenings are free and will be in Brown Hall. The festival sets time aside Saturday for its special “Eye on Youth” programming.

Obituary: Donald Stahl, University College graduate student, 73

Donald Stahl photoDonald Stahl, a master’s degree student in University College in Arts & Sciences, died March 22 at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond Heights, Mo., after suffering a heart attack on campus. He was 73. A retired social worker, Stahl was pursuing a master’s in international affairs.
