Astronaut, alum Robert Behnken to discuss career, space flight

Washington University alumnus and NASA astronaut Col. Robert L. Behnken will join Chancellor Andrew D. Martin on Wednesday, Nov. 11, for a conversation about Behnken’s career and most recent experience as a member of the SpaceX Crew Dragon, Demo-2 mission, which wrapped up in August. The virtual event is part of University Advancement’s “Wednesdays with WashU” webinar series.

Alok Vaid-Menon, a gender expansiveness advocate and artist, will give the Brown School’s Masters and Johnson Annual Lecture. Vaid-Menon recently published the book “Beyond the Gender Binary” and uses art to approach themes of gender, belonging and the human condition.
