Algorithm signals need for more cancer screening

Researchers at the School of Medicine and Whiterabbit.ai have developed a software that assesses breast density and can help identify women who could benefit from additional screening. Dense tissue increases the chance of developing breast cancer.

Construction begins on Forest Park Southeast project

Construction began this month on Union At The Grove, a six-building apartment project considered the final piece of an effort by the School of Medicine and BJC HealthCare to help revitalize the Forest Park Southeast neighborhood.

Becker Library offers COVID-19 resource list

The university’s Bernard Becker Medical Library has compiled a COVID-19 resource guide, which includes information on the COVID-19 vaccine and its development as well as a list of vaccine preregistration sites for community members in the St. Louis region.
