Atkinson, Wingfield receive faculty achievement awards

John Atkinson, the Samuel B. Grant Professor at the School of Medicine, and Adia Harvey Wingfield, the Mary Tileston Hemenway Professor in Arts & Sciences, will receive the university’s 2022 faculty achievement awards, Chancellor Andrew D. Martin announced.

Drug reduces risk of death from vessel rupture in mice

Researchers at the School of Medicine have shown that an experimental nanoparticle-based drug therapy protects mice from sudden death due to the rupture of a major blood vessel in the abdomen, pointing the way toward a new treatment strategy.

Brown School faculty help California launch CalKIDS
