Sam Fox School spring Public Lecture Series begins today

Celebrated sculptor Chakaia Booker will launch the Sam Fox School’s spring Public Lecture Series with a free talk at 5:30 p.m. today at the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum. Subsequent speakers will range from Pritzker Prize-winning architect Francis Kéré to author and illustrator Deb J.J. Lee, avant-garde stage director Robert Wilson and fashion technologist Anouk Wipprecht.

Regenerative medicine symposium

The Center of Regenerative Medicine will host a half-day symposium in honor of Rita Levi-Montalcini. The event will feature talks from Holden Thorp, Bob Goldstein and postdoctoral scholars in regenerative medicine. Attend virtually or in person. Eric P. The Brown School welcomes pediatrician Jason Newland, MD, of the School of Medicine, for a virtual discussion on the pandemic’s impact on school communities in St. Louis and lessons learned for the future.
