Researchers find clue to when cancer immunotherapy works

Cancer immunotherapy doesn’t work for all patients, but School of Medicine researchers have discovered that a kind of dendritic cell is crucial for determining the effectiveness of immunotherapy. The discovery could lead to new ways to help more patients.

Undergraduate research office relaunches

As part of the Arts & Sciences strategic plan, the Office of Undergraduate Research has been revamped, and it relaunched with its first faculty director, Lori Markson. The effort aims to expand research opportunities for undergraduates in the humanities, social sciences and natural sciences.
