Several distinguished speakers, faculty members and student leaders will take part in Commencement recognition ceremonies for Class of 2023 graduates and their families and guests May 12-15 at Washington University.

The McDonnell Center for Space Sciences in Arts & Sciences welcomes Brandon Chalifoux, of the University of Arizona, for a talk on X-ray telescope mirror segments. Compton Hall, Room 241.



Digital Transformation symposium

11:30 a.m.–6 p.m. Friday, May 5

Arts & Sciences will host a research symposium focused on the Digital Transformation initiative, part of the strategic plan, and the work being done by 18 recently hired faculty members. Umrath Hall Lounge.



Child well-being, mental health talk

Brown School alumna Stephanie Malia Krauss will share information from her forthcoming book, “Whole Child, Whole Life: 10 Ways to Help Kids Live, Learn, and Thrive,” during a virtual talk, part of the school’s Alumni Spotlight Series.

Olin Library presents selected works from students in the master of fine arts in illustration and visual culture program as part of their exhibition and engagement course requirement. The exhibit will be on display through Sept. 24 in the Ginkgo Reading Room.
