Speakers scheduled for schools’ Commencement celebrations

Several distinguished speakers, faculty members and student leaders will take part in Commencement recognition ceremonies for Class of 2023 graduates and their families and guests May 12-15 at Washington University.

Jacob to discuss methane and climate

11 a.m.–1 p.m. Monday, May 8

Daniel Jacob, of Harvard University, will discuss how new satellite observations of atmospheric methane can help better quantify methane emissions in support of climate action. The lecture, part of the Climate Change Speaker Series, will take place in the Women’s Building Formal Lounge.
