December recognition ceremony to be held Saturday

Tony Sims was born a hustler. This week, he is set to graduate from Olin Business School an entrepreneur. He is among the 2,042 students who are to earn their degrees this month. The university will celebrate their accomplishments at the annual December recognition ceremony at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, at the Athletic Complex.

Artist Anderson to give Freund Lecture

5:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7

The Sam Fox School welcomes artist and designer Kelli Anderson as the speaker for the Henry L. and Natalie E. Freund Visiting Artist Lecture this evening in Steinberg Hall Auditorium. Anderson is the creator of many projects, including “This Book is a Camera” and “This Book is a Planetarium.”

Exhibits and ongoing events

‘In the Company of Greatness’ exhibit continues

Join the Bernard Becker Medical Library for an exhibit highlighting WashU-affiliated Nobel laureates and their colleagues, many of whom have completed much of their award-winning work at the university. The exhibit will be on display through Feb. 6 in the Glaser Gallery on the Medical Campus.
