95th Annual Fashion Design Show set for Saturday

The Sam Fox School will present WashU’s 95th Annual Fashion Design Show Saturday, April 27, in Ridgley Hall’s Holmes Lounge. One of the oldest such shows in the nation, the event will feature dozens of models wearing scores of outfits that together explore the intersection of clothing and culture.

Chancellor Andrew D. Martin will join Wall Street financier Cliff Asness for a discussion on financial markets, economic trends and investment strategies. Q&A to follow. Knight Hall, Emerson Auditorium.



Spring Ensemble annual concert

7–8:10 p.m. Sunday, April 28

The WashU Spring Ensemble will perform traditional Chinese music in concert in celebration of the group’s musical culture. Ridgley Hall, Holmes Lounge.



Great Artists Series: soprano Christine Goerke

7 p.m. Sunday, April 28

Soprano Christine Goerke, accompanied by pianist Craig Terry, will present “Celebration of the American Diva” for the Great Artists Series. 560 Music Center, E. Desmond Lee Concert Hall.

Exhibits and ongoing events

‘Coins Across Time’ exhibit

Join University Libraries for an exhibit featuring the Washington University Wulfing Collection of ancient coins. The exhibit examines the earliest coinage of the ancient Mediterranean world to present-day America. The exhibit will be on display through July 21 at Olin Library, Level 1, Newman Tower of Collections and Exploration.
