A radical plan to save the delta

An international cohort of designers, engineers, planners and other professionals — along with a handful of university faculty, students and alumni — won a global competition charged with developing a 100-year plan for stabilizing the Mississippi River delta.

Academy of Science-St. Louis honors researchers

Four Washington University researchers are being honored as outstanding scientists by the Academy of Science-St. Louis. They are Robi D. Mitra, Lilianna Solnica-Krezel and Gary D. Stormo, of the School of Medicine; and Gary J. Patti, of Arts & Sciences.
