At 1:30 p.m. today, a person was injured in a shooting on Forsyth Boulevard near the Mallinckrodt Center of Washington University in St. Louis. The injuries are believed to be non-life threatening and the victim has been transported to the hospital for medical care.
Clayton Police are on the scene investigating, in coordination with the Washington University Police Department. No further details are available at this time. Inquiries should be directed to the Clayton Police.
There no longer is an active threat. Members of the Washington University community are able to resume normal activity.
