In launching the St. Louis Queer + Support Helpline (SQSH), senior Luka Cai is providing the local community the support they never received as a queer teenager in Singapore. Cai and co-founder Riott Kochman, a Brown School student, will receive a Holobaugh honor for SQSH at the annual James M. Holobaugh Honors Ceremony Nov. 11.

Holobaugh Honors winners to be celebrated Thursday

The 10th annual James M. Holobaugh Honors Ceremony at Washington University in St. Louis recognizes campus and community leaders who provide service to  LGBTQIA* communities though leadership, activism or academic exploration. This year’s event recognizes more than a dozen leaders and will take place at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, in Umrath Hall Lounge.

Holobaugh nominations due

Nominations are due Jan. 19 for the fourth annual James M. Holobaugh Honors. Campus Life and the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) Advisory Board will be hosting the Holobaugh Honors Ceremony at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, in Holmes Lounge, Ridgley Hall.
