The following incidents were reported to University Police Sept. 10-17. Readers with information that could assist in investigating these incidents are urged to call 935-5555. Sept. 12

1:29 p.m. — Two laptop computers were reported missing from the Arc Technology Center in Olin Library. They have been missing since at least May 29, 2003. Total lost is estimated at $4,570.90.

Sept. 15

9:41 a.m. — A vending machine in the Sigma Chi fraternity was broken into, and about $315 in money and soda was stolen. Additionally, the vending machine sustained about $500 worth of damage.

Additionally, University Police responded to five auto accidents, four reports of larceny, five reports of lost or stolen articles, two reports of telephone harassment, and one report each of judicial violation, suspicious person, tampering and trespassing.
