Media Advisory: Student Worker Alliance sit-in at Washington University

On April 4, 2005, a group of Washington University undergraduate students known as the Student Worker Alliance (SWA) occupied the admissions office in Brookings Hall in an effort to support a campaign for living wages. The student sit-in is currently in its ninth day.

Late this afternoon, University Chancellor Mark S. Wrighton issued his second email letter on this issue to the campus community. Copies of his letters are available at the following Web site:
