The following incidents were reported to University Police July 12-Aug.9. Readers with information that could assist in investigating these incidents are urged to call 935-5555. 8:32 a.m. — Between 5 p.m. July 29 and 8:20 a.m. Aug. 1, an unknown person entered an office in the basement of the Alumni House and took a black Dell Flat Screen Desktop Computer. On Aug. 1, the office door was found propped open with a doorstop. No pry marks could be located on the office door or on the outside of the window. Total loss is estimated at $2,000.
5:22 p.m. — A person reported that someone entered his Prince Hall office in the previous three weeks and stole a computer. There were no signs of forced entry. An investigation is continuing.
Additionally, University Police responded to five larcenies, three parking violations, three trespasses, two auto accidents, two disturbances and one report each of motor vehicle theft, receiving stolen property, suspicious person, fire and property damage.
