Sponsored by the Office of Career Development and WUSTL Police, the class is taught by certified R.A.D instructors — Sgt. Gwen Patton of the WUSTL Police Department and Stacey Spruiel, coordinator of field instruction in the George Warren Brown School of Social Work. The R.A.D. system, taught in more than 40 states and Canada, features easy-to-learn, effective defense techniques. The next session of four once-per-week classes will begin April 1.
