International Business Outlook Conference at Washington University

Fourth annual meeting brings nationally recognized speakers

WHAT: International Business Outlook Conference. An annual conference organized by Washington University Olin School of Business MBA students. The conference’s theme is “Keys to Expanding Globally: Strategies and Implementation Tactics.”

WHEN: Friday, April 7, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

WHERE: The Charles F. Knight Center, Washington University Hilltop Campus. From Highway 40, take Big Bend north past Forsythe. Turn right onto Snow Way and go straight until you reach the Knight Center.

WHO: The day will feature speeches from David N. Farr, Chairman, CEO & President of Emerson, Sir Tom McKillop, Former CEO of AstraZeneca and current Chairman (Designate) of The Royal Bank of Scotland, and Jai Nagarkatti, President & CEO of Sigma-Aldrich Corporation. There will also be breakout sessions on topics such as Wall Street’s perspective on international business and creating value in emerging markets.

WHY: The conference’s objective is to provide the St. Louis and Midwest business communities with practical, leading edge information on successfully positioning a company to operate in the complex international environment.
