The following incidents were reported to University Police Feb. 7-19. Readers with information that could assist in investigating these incidents are urged to call 935-5555. This information is provided as a public service to promote safety awareness and is available on the University Police Web site at police.wustl.edu.

Feb. 7

4:49 p.m. — A person reported that her Blackberry cell phone was taken from an unsecured locker in the women’s locker room of the Athletic Complex.

6:24 p.m. — A wallet was stolen at the Hilltop Bakery in the Mallinckrodt Student Center.

Feb. 11

1:15 p.m. — A student reported the theft of a bicycle from the Snow Way parking garage. It was later found damaged at the lowest level of the garage.

2:38 p.m. — It was reported that several fraudulent WUSTL checks were passed in the St. Louis area in January.

Feb. 13

12:11 p.m. — A student reported her purse was stolen after she left it on a table at the Mallinckrodt Student Center food court.

Feb. 19

9:36 a.m. — A woman reported that money was taken from an unattended purse in Ridgely Hall.

2:12 p.m. — A man reported his vehicle had been stolen from the Forsyth/Hoyt paved lot.

Additionally, University police also responded to four accidental injuries, three auto accidents, two lost items, two sick cases, one false fire alarm, one lewd conduct case and one trespassing case.
