Biography: Scott Friedman has an impressive background in politics and public service. He attended the 2008 Republican National Convention and is the Missouri chairman on the U.S. Public Service Academy’s National Youth Council. The U.S. Public Service Academy is designed to build a “more perfect union” by developing leaders of character dedicated to service in the public sector.

Friedman will serve as a debate hall usher.

He interned at U.S. Senator Kit Bond’s office and prior, was senior class president at Parkway Central High School in Chesterfield, Mo. He is a volunteer for Senator McCain’s campaign.

At Washington University, Friedman is a member of Lock and Chain, the oldest sophomore honorary at the institution. Lock and Chain is a tight-knit group serving the sophomore class, the WUSTL community and the greater St. Louis area through community service, philanthropy and social gatherings.
