Child-care center Web site debuts

The Web site for Washington University’s forthcoming child-care facility, wustl.edu/childcare, came online Jan. 25.

The Web site provides more information on the university’s planned 19,900-square-foot child-care center, which will open Sept. 7.

The child-care facility will be built on the North Campus at 840 Rosedale Ave. in University City and will offer care for 156 children of faculty, staff and students from the ages of 6 weeks to 5 years.

Featured on the child-care Web site are the facility’s scheduled hours and cost and pre-enrollment forms for faculty, staff and full-time graduate and professional students interested in registering their child or children for the center.

Also included are a rendering of the facility and information about the vendor, Bright Horizons Family Solutions, which manages more than 700 child-care centers for universities, corporations, hospitals and government agencies.
