Dining Services announces summer schedule

Most students are gone for the summer, but WUSTL Dining Services is keeping notable locations open to serve students, faculty and staff remaining on campus from June 14-Aug. 14.

Four stations at the Danforth University Center Servery — the 1853 Diner, DeliciOSO, Trattoria Verde and Wash U Wok — will remain open during summer weekdays for lunch. DeliciOSO and Trattoria Verde will also be open during weekday evenings and on weekends for lunch and dinner, and DeliciOSO will offer a hot breakfast on weekdays starting at 8 a.m.

On Fridays June 14-Aug. 14, WUSTL Dining Services will offer a barbecue at the DUC from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in the Edison Family Courtyard, weather permitting. During the barbecue, fresh produce from the Burning Kumquat — the student-run, organic on-campus garden — will be available for purchase.

A daily comfort global meal will be available weekdays from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. over the summer at DeliciOSO at the DUC for $6. The meal comes with an entree, two sides and a drink and will feature different regional themes, such as Italian, Southern comfort, Indian and Asian.

Also open for weekday lunches will be Steinberg Cafe in Steinberg Hall, open from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m., and the Subway in Umrath Hall, open from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Cafe Bergson in the DUC will remain open over the summer on weekdays from 7:30 a.m.-3 p.m. and weekends from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

Notable dining locations closed until the fall semester are Ibby’s, Whisper’s Cafe, Holmes Lounge, Cafe Olin and all stations located in the Village and South 40 residential areas.
