Brian Allen, WUSTL network security analyst, leads a discussion on network scanning Aug. 18 during a cyber security conference at the Charles F. Knight Executive Education & Conference Center. The conference — held Aug. 17-18 and sponsored by Internet 2, an advanced networking consortium — was hosted by WUSTL and brought together 40 security professionals from universities, businesses, government and law enforcement agencies.
