Washington University in St. Louis will host a Public Service Fair from 4:30-6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, in the Danforth University Center Tisch Commons and Edison Family Courtyard.
This event features more than 40 nonprofit organizations offering a variety of community service and internship opportunities. Sponsored by the Gephardt Institute for Public Service, the fair is available to students, faculty, staff and the local community.
“Participating agencies are working on critical issues in education, health, community development, the environment and more,” says Robin Hattori, assistant director of the Gephardt Institute. “They will share information about short-term, long-term and family-friendly volunteer opportunities.”
Attendees will be eligible for a raffle drawing featuring gift certificates and other prizes.
