Frank Stadermann, a research scientist who studied extraterrestrial material gathered by spacecraft, died Monday, Oct. 4, from a cerebral hemorrhage that occurred the previous day. He was 48. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8, at the Ethical Society of St. Louis, 9001 Clayton Road, St. Louis. The family asks that donations in honor of Stadermann be given to Habitat for Humanity St. Louis (www.habitatstl.org).
