Report to Neighbors

Chancellor Mark S. Wrighton (above, center) speaks during the question-and-answer session of the “Report to the Neighbors” meeting Nov. 16 at the Knight Center. The annual event is held to help keep those living in neighborhoods surrounding WUSTL informed on university happenings and also to give neighbors a forum to voice comments and concerns to a panel of university administrators. Other panel members were (from left) Arthur J. Ackermann, associate vice chancellor for facilities planning and management; Cheryl L. Adelstein, director of community relations and local government affairs; Justin X. Carroll, associate vice chancellor and dean of students; and Mary B. Campbell, assistant vice chancellor for real estate. Below: Kathy Rice speaks to the panel. The meeting also included a performance by student a cappella group After Dark; a “state of the university” address by Wrighton; and a presentation by Mary Zabriskie, assistant director for Campus Life, and student business owners of Sharing With A Purpose (SWAP).
