Car-free Month: April 2013

Car-free Month returns this month. The offices of Sustainability and Parking and Transportation challenge the WUSTL community to try alternative means of commuting to campus.

Sign up by Friday, April 12, to take the Car-free Challenge, which runs through April 24.

All WUSTL faculty, staff and students living off campus are encouraged to form teams and log their trips to and from campus. Awards will be given to teams with the highest number of car-free trips, greatest number of car-free miles, largest number of members and those who had the greatest shift in commute.

Car-free Month activities will take place across both Danforth and Medical campuses to encourage alternative commuting, including free bike repairs, a bike riding workshop and a large Bike-In Movie at Art Hill.
