Since 1973, WILD has been an annual tradition at Washington University in St. Louis, bringing together students for a night of unforgettable performances. To celebrate 2023’s golden WILD, the 50th anniversary of the event’s inception, take a look back at the history and impact of WILD over the years and explore how it has evolved over the decades to become a beloved campus tradition. From its early start as a film festival to its current night concert premise, WILD has featured some of the biggest names in music, including Chuck Berry, A Tribe Called Quest, OutKast and Childish Gambino to name just a few.
