At the Washington University in St. Louis Board of Trustees meeting Dec. 1, the following faculty members were appointed with tenure or promoted with tenure, effective Jan. 1 unless otherwise noted.
Appointment with tenure
Mary Ruppert-Stroescu as associate professor of art in the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts, effective Dec. 1; and
William B. Tolman as professor of chemistry in Arts & Sciences, effective the first day of employment.
Promotion with tenure
Lerone A. Martin to associate professor in the John C. Danforth Center on Religion and Politics and in Arts & Sciences;
Jonathan E. Peelle to associate professor of otolaryngology at the School of Medicine, effective Dec. 1; and
Susan L. Stark to associate professor of occupational therapy at the School of Medicine.
