Fifteen faculty from the School of Medicine were honored Feb. 10 at the 2010 Distinguished Faculty Awards ceremony at the Eric P. Newman Education Center.
This is the third year for the awards, which were created to recognize outstanding achievements in clinical care, community service, research and teaching. The awards are co-sponsored by the dean’s office, the Office of Faculty Affairs, Central Administration and the Executive Committee of the Faculty Council.
The recipients were chosen from 56 nominees.
“These faculty have contributed significantly to advances in medicine, to our community, to providing outstanding care to patients and first-rate education to our students,” said Larry J.
