A time capsule containing items donated by students, Chancellor Mark S. Wrighton, James E. McLeod, dean of the College of Arts & Sciences, WUSTL Dining Services and others to describe life at WUSTL in 2011 was buried on the South 40 during a ceremony April 2. The capsule included letters from Wrighton, McLeod and the Congress of the South 40; Wrighton’s cuff-links; a CD of 2011 popular songs; sunglasses; T-shirts; and a Student Union thermos. It will be opened again during the Class of 2011’s 50th reunion in 2061. The time capsule is located between South 40 and Umrath houses.
