Outlook for H1N1

Alexander Garza, M.D., assistant secretary for health affairs and chief medical officer for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, spoke about the H1N1 flu pandemic to faculty, staff and students Nov. 18 at the Farrell Learning and Teaching Center. Garza, a St. Louis native, discussed the role the Department of Homeland Security plays in the national response to H1N1 as well as the outlook for the outbreak.
