First U.S.-India joint EMBA program announced​​

WUSTL and the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay have announced a joint Executive MBA program aimed at the international executive. The new program is the first of its kind to confer an MBA degree from both an Indian and an American university and will be modeled after WUSTL’s highly ranked Executive MBA in China and the United States.

Olin’s EMBA program ranked No. 2 worldwide

Olin Business School’s Executive MBA program was ranked No. 2 worldwide in the Wall Street Journal’s 2010 survey published Sept. 30. The ranking is based on survey data collected on 64 business schools and responses from corporate human resource officers and recent EMBA alumni. Olin’s extensive career services were cited as an advantage of the program designed for professionals with 10 years or more corporate experience.

Olin launches executive education programs in Kansas City

Olin Business School is taking its executive education programs on the road and due west on I-70. Destination: Kansas City. Senior faculty will offer the same top-ranked seminars and the 20-month Executive MBA degree program to Kansas City-based professionals as those offered on the St. Louis campus. Olin’s executive MBA program was established in 1983 and has been offered in conjunction with Fudan University in Shanghai, China since 2002.

Kouvelis Panos Kouvelis, a professor of operations and manufacturing management at the Olin Business School, Washington University in St. Louis, has been named to the new position of senior associate dean and director of executive programs. From St. Louis to Shanghai, Olin offers a wide variety of executive education programs including the Executive MBA degree, topic-focused seminars and custom corporate learning programs. Kouvelis brings a rich background of teaching, research and consulting to this new position which is part of a larger strategic plan for continued growth and innovation in executive education.
