More than 8,000 medical school employees attended the June 10 picnic, which featured food, games, music and prizes, including American Airlines and Cardinals tickets. Slovacek and Nolan work with Project ARK (AIDS/HIV Resources and Knowledge), a University organization that enhances the lives of those infected, affected or at risk for HIV/AIDS through coordinated medical care, social support and prevention services.
