Campus Watch

The following incidents were reported to University Police March 4-18. Readers with information that could assist in investigating these incidents are urged to call 935-5555. This information is provided as a public service to promote safety awareness and is available on the University Police Web site at police.wustl.edu.

March 6

4:06 p.m. — A student reported that someone entered his vehicle and stole a cash box while he was parked outside the Mallinckrodt Student Center.

March 12

10:48 a.m. — A cash box was stolen from a Coca-Cola delivery truck on Throop Drive.

5:47 p.m. — A student reported her purse was stolen from a second-floor art studio in Givens Hall.

March 15

11:11 a.m. — A suspicious person was confronted in an office suite in Goldfarb Hall. Officers discovered one of the offices in the suite had been entered and property prepared for removal.

March 16

5:23 p.m. — A person reported his cell phone was missing after he left it unattended on a table next to a basketball court on the South 40.

March 17

9:24 a.m. — A woman saw an unknown person enter her office in Brown Hall and look through her purse.

3:24 p.m. — Officers in the Snow Way Garage discovered five juveniles who stated they were looking for vehicles from which to steal items. One had just stolen a bicycle from the Village housing area.

Additionally, University police also responded to four accidental injuries, four reports of lost items, four sick cases, three auto accidents, three parking violations, two fire alarms, two reports of damaged property, one case of seized property, one judicial violation, one report of assault, one report of found property, one report of harassment, one report of suspicious persons and one trespassing case.
