Chancellor Mark S. Wrighton and Tili Boon Cuillé, Ph.D., assistant professor of French in the Department of Romance Languages & Literatures in Arts & Sciences, lead the Convocation procession from the Athletic Complex toward the Danforth University Center following the ceremony. Cuillé was the faculty speaker at the Aug. 21 orientation event, a University tradition — complete with full academic regalia — formally welcoming new students and their parents into the WUSTL community.
