Board of Trustees grants faculty appointments, promotions, tenure

At the Washington University in St. Louis Board of Trustees meeting May 6, the following faculty members were appointed with tenure, granted tenure or promoted with tenure, effective July 1 unless otherwise indicated.

Appointment with Tenure

Mary McKernan McKay as professor in the Brown School;

Von E. Nebbitt as associate professor in the Brown School;

Vijay Ramani as professor of energy, environmental and chemical engineering in the School of Engineering & Applied Science (effective Aug. 1);

Rodrigo S. Reis as professor in the Brown School; and

Stephen P. Ryan as professor of economics in Olin Business School.

Granting of Tenure

Michael S. Avidan as professor of anesthesiology in the School of Medicine (effective May 6); and

Limor Golan as associate professor of economics in Arts & Sciences.

Promotion with Tenure

John D. Inazu to professor of law in the School of Law; and

Kelly R. Monk to associate professor of developmental biology in the School of Medicine.
