Campus Watch

The following incidents were reported to University Police April 2-8. Readers with information that could assist in investigating these incidents are urged to call 935-5555. This information is provided as a public service to promote safety awareness and is available on the University Police Web site at police.wustl.edu.

April 4

12:12 p.m. — A cell phone was reported stolen from a purse in the Wohl Center.

12:59 p.m. — A student reported a case containing a cell phone, a wallet and keys were either stolen or lost between Holmes Lounge and Olin Library.

April 6

1:28 p.m. — A student reported that his bike was stolen from outside Lopata Hall.

April 7

4:58 a.m. — A person reported a broken window and desk in disarray in Busch Laboratory. An investigation revealed that a computer was missing.

4:30 p.m. — A student reported that an unknown person had punctured two of her vehicle’s tires while it was parked on the South 40.

April 8

12:43 p.m. — A person reported a DVD player had been stolen from his room in Umrath House.

1:57 p.m. — A person reported a camera was either lost or stolen outside of Mallinckrodt Student Center.

Additionally, University police also responded to four alcohol violations, three reports of property damage, two accidental injuries, two reports of trespassing, two sick cases, one auto accident and one lost article.
