Braxs receives Hispanic heritage award from NFL

The St. Louis Rams have selected Virginia Braxs, senior lecturer in Romance languages and literatures in Arts & Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis, as a recipient of the NFL Hispanic Heritage Leadership Award.

A native of Argentina, Braxs serves as the department’s Hispanic Community and Student Group Liaison, coordinating its Latino Outreach Programs. She has chosen the Hispanic Arts Council of St. Louis to receive an accompanying NFL donation of $2,000.
