Classics’ Moore delivers lecture on song, has work published

Timothy Moore, PhD, the John and Penelope Biggs Distinguished Professor and chair of the Department of Classics in Arts & Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis, recently delivered a lecture titled “Breaking Into Song: Opening Music on the Greek and Roman Stage” at the University of California, Berkeley.

Moore’s paper “Music and Gender in Terence’s Hecyra” also has been published in the book “Women in Roman Republican Drama” (University of Wisconsin Press, 2015).
