Mosammaparast receives NIH grant for DNA research

Nima Mosammaparast, PhD, MD, assistant professor of pathology and immunology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, has received a five-year, $1.74 million grant from the National Cancer Institute of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for research titled “Mechanism and Regulation of the DNA Alkylation Damage Response.”

Mosammaparast also received a one-year, $50,000 grant from Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine for research titled “Targeting Deubiquitinases to Modulate Chemoresistance in Glioblastoma.”
