Aaron Addison, director of scholarly services at Washington University Libraries, has been selected to participate in the 2016 UCLA Senior Fellows Program. The program, for senior-level academic librarians, gives fellows the opportunity to consider new approaches to issues confronting academic institutions and their libraries.

Addison began his tenure with Washington University as GIS coordinator, helping faculty work with geographic information systems. In 2013, he joined the staff of the University Libraries as director of research data and GIS services (DGS). He was later named director of scholarly services.

The Senior Fellows program was established in 1982 with the support of the Council on Library Resources, University of California, Los Angeles, and the institutions represented by the participating fellows. Addison will take part in the program at UCLA this summer.
