Skandalaris Center to host weekly entrepreneurial panel discussions

As part of its commitment to developing entrepreneurs, this summer the Skandalaris Center for Entrepreneurial Studies will host 25 undergraduate interns at local commercial and social startup ventures.

The interns will host panel discussions from 2:30-4 p.m. each Friday during the summer.

The panels and receptions that follow will provide opportunities for students and other members of the university community to hear from successful entrepreneurs and innovators, connect with them, and learn about what’s going on in the St. Louis community.

All discussions, unless otherwise noted, will be held on Simon Hall, Room 104. Topics for this summer’s panels are:

  • June 17: Social enterprise
  • June 24: Innovation in life sciences — this discussion will be held at the Center for Emerging Technologies, 4041 Forest Park Ave.
  • July 8: New media
  • July 15: Product and design entrepreneurship
  • July 22: Innovation in education
  • July 29: The St. Louis startup
  • August 5: Environmental entrepreneurship
