Women’s Society accepting grant requests for community projects through October

The Women’s Society of Washington University Funding Committee is accepting grant requests until Thursday, Oct. 31, for projects or activities that benefit the WUSTL community.

Generally, the committee is interested in projects that enhance and enrich the campus’ artistic, cultural and educational experience; reflect and respect the WUSTL community’s diversity; encourage and support community service and leadership opportunities among students; and offer the potential for participation by a large number of people.

Over the years, the Women’s Society has provided funding ranging from $300 to $2,000 for projects, which have varied widely.

The project funding request form can be found on the Women’s Society website, and, once completed, should be sent to Sharon Britt via email, at Sharon_Britt@wustl.edu.
